EIR LEAD EDITORIAL FOR SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2023

Sept. 23, 2023, (EIRNS)—There is no let-up of the danger of nuclear annihilation—there is even a worsening threat—from either an accidental or deliberate triggering of warfare into nuclear exchange. As of this weekend, there is a renewed barrage of projectiles from Ukraine targeting Sevastopol, the Crimean headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the second barrage in two days. Whatever the military facts of the matter, the escalation danger is to be seen in the way the trans-Atlantic media establishment is portraying this maneuver: See, Ukraine’s cunning attack shows that Russia cannot defend itself. Russia is on the way down and out.”

EIR LEAD EDITORIAL FOR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2023

Sept. 22, 2023, (EIRNS)—

(Music) is that part of us that is connected with the Divine One. I remember Dr. Thurman once said, God created man in His own image in the dead center, so that in the dead center of God’s brain, there is this image of what man is; and at a point at which man reaches the full development of that image, then he will be on a par with the angels…. And I never forgot that: Ah! So that’s what evolution is about! Man finally coming into the image that is in the dead center of God’s brain, of what man is to be!’… And all of us are endowed with that basic thing, and Music is it.”

Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa with Putin

EIR LEAD EDITORIAL FOR FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2023

Sept. 21, 2023 (EIRNS)—Three African leaders, who together had attended the July 27-28 Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg, addressed the United Nations General Assembly today. Certainly they found colonialism to be oppressive and destructive, but all three were not punching from below.

Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa strongly condemned tendencies by some powerful countries who preach peace, human rights and democracy and yet clandestinely fund conflicts and the unconstitutional changes of governments, for their own narrow interests.” Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadéra demanded to know how to accelerate implementation of the Agenda 2030 on behalf of peace, prosperity, progress and the sustainability for all, when certain states, from the height of their political, economic and military power, constantly stir up coercive diplomacy or utilize international financial institutions for the purpose of imposing economic, financial and commercial blockades against countries rendered poor by slavery, colonization and imperialism?”

An Emergency Program To Save Argentina, a New Member of the BRICS

The following proposal was released by the Schiller Institute, Sept. 4, 2023.

To save Argentina, the Schiller Institute proposes immediate steps to be taken by the government of President Alberto Fernández (shown), and candidate Sergio Massa, the current Economics Minister.

This article appears in the September 15, 2023 issue of Executive Intelligence Review.

Print version of this article

There are certain battles that cannot be avoided and must be won. One such is the battle to get the United States and Western Europe to change their current geopolitical confrontation course with Russia and China, a course meant to enforce the bankrupt trans-Atlantic financial system and its unipolar world order. The probable alternative to winning that fight is thermonuclear war.

Another such battle is the upcoming presidential election in Argentina on Oct. 22, which is shaping up as the immediate, first battleground between the newly expanded BRICS-11 process and that same bankrupt trans-Atlantic system—a system that is terrified that it will be swept away by the tidal wave of nations joining the BRICS, the emerging Global Majority. The outcome of that showdown will surely determine the future of Argentina for decades to come; but it may also decide the fate of the BRICS as well. on Jan. 1, 2024, by beating that nation’s economy to a bloody pulp through debt collection and capital flight, and in that way fully discredit the current Alberto Fernández government and its party’s candidate, Economics Minister Sergio Massa, and hand victory to the psychologically unstable Javier Milei.
